general

  • art must be for personal use - nothing commericial. character designs may not be resold as adopts unless the character has been heavily changed to no longer resemble my initial design.

  • on that note, you may continue to adapt your character as you please beyond my initial design as time goes on without consulting me - they are yours.

  • the commission is public unless you request otherwise and therefore may be posted to my socials.

  • reference images of the character and a detailed description should be provided. i will not use ai generated images or descriptions as reference.

  • i would prefer to send the final piece via email. this is to maintain image quality, but if you have a preference otherwise it is up to you as the client.

  • all use of my art (profile pictures, banners, etc) must be credited.

  • i can refuse any requests that i'm not comfortable with.

  • if my art is being used alongside harmful rhetoric or inappropriate content you will be asked to stop using it. i will not refund you for this.

  • i do not consent to the use of my art to train AI nor do i use any generative AI in the process of creating my art.

i will not draw:

  • non-humanoid characters

  • anthro/furry designs

  • real people (though characters based on yourself/personas are totally fine)

  • in a style that isnt my own

  • nfts

  • nsfw or suggestive content

  • mecha

  • heavy gore

  • animals (with some exceptions)

  • hate symbols

prices and payment

  • all payments are done through a stripe invoice. this means an email is required.

  • prices are subject to increase based on complexity of the request.

  • for illustrations: all payment is upfront once the sketch has been approved.

  • for character designs: payment may be split between concepting and the final ref as these projects are far more likely to change as time goes on and so prices are harder to figure out early on.

  • listed prices use stripe's conversion rates. i should be able to invoice you in a currency of your choice and i will make sure we are on the same page through the process so you know how much you will need to pay.

workflow/process

  • when a request is made, i should start working on it within 2 weeks of accepting. i will try to let you know if im particularly busy.

  • character designs will take longer than illustrations and will involve much more of an ongoing conversation with me. responding punctually to any questions is key to keeping us both on track!

  • for illustrations: an invoice is sent after the initial thumbnail is approved.

  • wips may be requested at any time, though i will also provide these at major steps as well.

  • i can make minor revisions throughout, no problem.

  • please try to answer any questions i have as its important for me getting everything right.

  • major revisions may be charged.

  • if for whatever reason i am unable to finish your commission at a normal pace i will let you know. a conversation can be had from there, but if the project is abandoned you will be able to request a refund of any payments already made.

who's this loser?

yallo! i go by teary, they/he.
i mostly draw my dnd characters and fanart of my favourite animated stuff or video games ! if you're lucky my ocs make an appearance too!
/ / / /im an illustrator first and foremost with an extra love for concept art and character design! designing is my passion. i take a lot of inspiration from cartoons and video games and as of rn it ALL goes into d&d writing if i have the time lmao/ / / /i am also studying art & design at university. this is a big part of why my schedule is a mess - as of writing this big update i hardly have the time to draw for myself at all </3
